BSNL introduces EVDO based Unlimited Wireless Broadband

BSNL has officially launched it’s EVDO based Wireless Broadband service. This EVDO service is based on CDMA technology. They are offering TWO flavours, one regular NIC based 144 Kbps wireless internet and another EVDO based wireless broadband with speeds upto 2.4 Mbps. Please see the details below:

MTNL, BSNL and Conexus Mobile Ink Unlimited Data Roaming Agreement

The State owned Enterprises BSNL and MTNL have entered into an alliance with Conexus Mobile to offer BSNL and MTNL subscribers an Unlimited Data Roaming Service for a lower fixed amount per day when roaming in a member country.
The Conexus Alliance currently includes 10 member operators in 12 countries.

BSNL to Launch 3G Services by 15 August 2009 in Gangtok, Sikkim

It is reported that BSNL will be launching 3G Services by 15th August in Gangtok, Sikkim. The announcement was made by Mr. Sachin Pilot in Gangtok.
